Bridge work on Airport Parkway delayed

OTTAWA — Heavy rainfall on Wednesday caused delays along the pedestrian bridge over the Airport Parkway.

The rainfall delayed the installation of steel decking, which was supposed to take place Wednesday night.

A portion of the Airport Parkway is scheduled to be closed Thursday night.

It is unclear when construction of the bridge will resume.
