Missing kayaker on upper Ottawa River

PETAWAWA, Ont. – Emergency crews are searching the Ottawa River for a kayaker who disappeared, Thursday afternoon.
The OPP marine unit is looking for the 61-year-old man, who was last seen in a yellow kayak, near Petawawa.
The Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre is assisting with an aerial search of the area.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the OPP.
