Canada Army Run hits Ottawa this weekend

OTTAWA — Thousands of people are expected to be on hand for the 2014 Canada Army Run coming to Ottawa this upcoming weekend.

The sold-out event features a 5km run and a half-marathon. It will wind through the downtown core and into Gatineau on Sunday.
There is a 17,000 square foot Army Run Sports Expo at Marion Dewar Plaza in front of Ottawa City Hall, where people can view dozens of exhibitors.

Money raised through the weekend will support the Soldier On and Military Families Fund.
