OTTAWA – A Forum Research survey into the key issues for the Ottawa municipal election, improving medication for children, the cost of policing rising despite a drop in crime rates and the 10th anniversary of the Salvation Army’s Transitional House are some of the topics being discussed on Talk to the Hand.
Monday’s show rundown:
-Lorne Bozinoff of Forum Research talks to Ed about the latest results of its survey on Ottawa’s upcoming municipal election.
-Dr. Bob Peterson, Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of British Columbia, talks to Ed about the new report on improving medication for children.
-Ottawa mayoral candidate Mike Maguire talks to Ed about his platform on hydro rates.
-Livio DiMatteo of the Fraser Institute talks to Ed about his report which finds the cost of policing continues to rise despite the drop in crime rates.
-Steve Ridgley, Supervisor of the Salvation Army’s Transitional House, talks to Ed about the 10th anniversary of it’s opening.
-Mark Provost, Executive Director of the Ottawa Booth Centre, and Darren Graham, the Community and Family Services director of the Salvation Army, talk to Ed about their Housing Response program.
The talk show is hosted by veteran broadcaster Ed Hand Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
