Man in hospital, another in custody after Lowertown stabbing

OTTAWA — A 17-year-old man is in custody, and a man is in hospital recovering after a stabbing in Lowertown on Saturday night.

Police responded to a reported stabbing involving two men on St. Patrick Street around 9:45 p.m.

A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police continue to investigate and ask any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
