UPDATE: Missing man found safe and alive

OTTAWA – Ottawa Police have confirmed Hung-Kai Cheng, 32, was found safe and alive Saturday morning.

Cheng was reported missing on Wednesday morning. He was last seen in the Sable Ridge Drive area.

Police say he was seen in the Conroy Pit area around 12:30 p.m., and again around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. He was seen carrying what appeared to be a collector’s sword, but was not acting in a threatening manner.

Police thank the public for their help.
