OTTAWA – A man is facing additional jail time in connection to the beating of Carlos Larmond.
A video was released Thursday, Terrence Wilson, 24, and another man, brutally beating Larmond at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre on Innes Road, as guards watch on.
Larmond is one of two Ottawa twins arrested in a RCMP terrorism bust back in January.
Wilson’s defence has claimed that Larmond was trying to convert him to Islam, and had threatened his family.
Wilson will serve 60 extra days in jail, on top of the time he is already serving for aggravated assault. The other man involved in the assault, Michael Clarke, has a week-long trial set for next year.
Meantime, Carlos and Ashton Larmond are now being held in custody in the Toronto-area. They are due back in court in October of 2016.
