Construction worker pinned in overnight collision

OTTAWA – A construction worker pinned between two vehicles on the Queensway, overnight, has been rushed to hospital.

Paramedics are reminding drivers to be extra-careful in this morning’s snowfall, after one vehicle collided with another, pinning the 25-year-old worker in between.

It happened just before 4 a.m., on the westbound Highway 417 near Metcalfe Street. The construction worker has been rushed to hospital for a possible pelvic fracture.

The OPP is investigating.
