All clear given after suspicious package found at Rideau Centre

OTTAWA — Police have deemed safe a suspicious package found in the Rideau Centre Friday afternoon.
A portion of the mall was evacuated for about 20 minutes as shoppers were told to wait outside.
Police let everyone back inside around 1:00 p.m.
