OC Transpo changes take effect

OTTAWA – Some major changes for OC Transpo have taken effect.

The Transitway between Lees and Hurdman Stations is now closed to accommodate construction on the O-Train Confederation Line.

Many routes now bypass Lees Station, where transit services have been reduced to the upper level. The lower level remains open to allow pedestrian access.

Some customers might have a slightly longer travel time because of these adjustments.

There will be more changes January 17, with the closure of the Transitway between Empress Avenue and Merton Street.
