Duplex fire leaves one person displaced

OTTAWA – One person is homeless after a fire broke out Wednesday afternoon in the Mooney’s Bay area.
Fire crews were called to a duplex at 2755 Flannery Dr. around 1:30 p.m.
The resident noticed smoke at evacuated the unit.
The fire was under control before two o’clock.
No injuries were reported and the estimated cost damages is unknown at this time.
The cause of fire is under investigation.
