The OPP say a South Frontenac man has died after falling through the ice while riding a small tractor-type vehicle on Inverary Lake north of Kingston.
They say two men were travelling together on separate vehicles late Saturday morning when one broke through the ice.
They say the second driver also went into the icy water when he tried to help the other man, but was able to get back out.
Carl Foster, 69, was pulled from the water a few kilometers away by members of an OPP Under Water Search and Recovery Unit.
