One rally, two very different messages on two posters

An anti- Uber rally by Ottawa taxi drivers is set to descend on Parliament Hill next week and a poster making its rounds on social media is threatening action against anyone who doesn’t attend.
The rally comes as tensions have heightened between taxi drivers across the country and unlicensed Uber drivers
But the local taxi union is denying the poster is theirs.
The poster branded with the Unifor logo appeared on Reddit, Wednesday, and a line in it says “all are urged to attend, action may be taken against those who are absent.”
But that wording is wrong, according to Union President Amrit Singh.
He admits that sentiment may have been suggested at one of the union’s meetings, but it isn’t what was distributed to members.
“We don’t know how it got online. Our flyer does not include that line.”
Instead, the union’s official poster states ‘all are urged to attend—unity is our success’
“We are a democratic union. We ask people to come, but you will see still there will be a lot of people working. There is no way we are going to force people to come to any rally,” said Singh.
The union is investigating who posted the other flyer.
