Millions in damages after Metro Food warehouse fire

OTTAWA — Ottawa Fire battled a two-alarm blaze at an industrial building on Old Innes Road, Sunday.
Ottawa Fire tells 1310News the fire started at the back of a Metro Food warehouse and was considered mostly under control before noon.
Heavy smoke affected crews as they battled flames in one corner of the building.
All employees were evacuated and there were no reports of injuries.
A fire investigator and health inspector were called in.
Damages were pegged at $6.7M.
