Rebecca McCaffrey found safe and sound: police

OTTAWA – An Ottawa woman has been found safe and sound after she went missing last Thursday.

Rebecca McCaffrey, 30, was last seen on Aug. 18 on Carling and Parkdale area, near the Civic Hospital.

Dozens of people took part in a search for McCaffrey over the past two days. Organizers called off the search, late Tuesday, after a ‘strategy talk’ with Ottawa Police.

Ottawa Police thanked the public and media for their help with the search.
