Man rescued from under Portage Bridge after slip on rocks

OTTAWA – Fire crews have rescued a man who had fallen under the Portage Bridge.
Crews were called to the bridge around 8:45 p.m., where the 22-year-old had fallen on some boulders and fractured his leg.
Fire rope rescue teams were able to help the man up and he was taken into the care of paramedics.
