Worker’s leg run over by bulldozer in east end

OTTAWA — A man was seriously injured when his legs were run over by a bulldozer in an east end industrial park.

Paramedics tell 1310 NEWS the call came in shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday.

The man, in his early 20’s, was part of a construction crew doing road rehabilitation work on Newmarket Street, near Liverpool Court.

The Ontario Ministry of Labour has been notified.
