Earlier this year, host Alex Trebek said it looked as if Canadians would once again be able to apply to compete on ‘Jeopardy!’ – and he’s made good on his word.

The CBC was the first to notice the small change to the ‘Jeopardy!’ website. Under the frequently-asked questions heading, it now reads “Canadians are eligible.” The change was made Sept. 12, the CBC reported.

Changes in Canada’s digital privacy laws last year caused problems over Internet applications. Trebek met with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in May and said those problems were being ironed out.
