Pedestrian struck by vehicle in west end

OTTAWA – A woman was struck by a vehicle in the west end Thursday morning.

The accident happened shortly after 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Greenbank Road and Lisa Avenue.

A 52-year-old woman suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital.

A portion of the southbound lanes of Greenbank Road was blocked at Lisa, but everything is back to normal.
