Crews knock down fire at Hydro Ottawa Substation

OTTAWA – There were no injuries after fire broke out at a Hydro Ottawa Substation.

Crews were called to 3025 Albion Rd. just after 11 p.m. and called Hydro Ottawa on route to the scene.

A security guard on site reported smelling smoke inside the office portion of the large industrial building, and on arrival crews confirmed a working fire.

The fire was put out quickly. There is no word on a cause or a damage estimate.

There are no power outages due to the fire.
