Snow, ice pellets, freezing rain — it’s all coming on Tuesday

OTTAWA – We are in for a blast of winter weather this week.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the area, warning of accumulating snow and a period of freezing rain for Tuesday.

1310 NEWS meteorologist Jill Taylor says we’re in for a bit of a one-two-punch this week.

The forecast calls for a few centimetres of snow Monday evening before things get really messy Tuesday afternoon, into the overnight with a mix of snow, rain and freezing rain.
