OPP warn of dangers of Morning Glory seeds

RENFREW, Ont. – Provincial police are warning parents after a merchant reported an increase in the sale of Morning Glory seeds.

Police were contacted by a local Renfrew merchant who noticed the recent spike in sales among young people.

Eating the seeds or mixing them into tea can cause a high that causes hallucinations.

People can also experience severe nausea when the seeds are ingested.
