Brazen daylight shooting in Little Italy injures one man

OTTAWA–One man is in custody, another recovering from a bullet wound to the leg, following a brazen daylight shooting Thursday afternoon in Little Italy.

Ottawa Police swarmed a location in the Willow and Rochester Streets area just before two o’clock, roping off the area.

A witness tells 1310 NEWS he saw two men arguing, and one man pulled a gun.

The investigation shifted to Gloucester and the Jasmine Crecent area, where police confirm an arrest was made.

The suspect is known to police and believed to be the only suspect in the shooting, which is the second this week in Ottawa
