The Transportation Safety Board has been called in after an incident involving an Air Canada flight early Saturday morning.
According to reports, Air Canada flight 623 out of Halifax briefly left the runway and skidded onto a grassy area while attempting to land during a storm at Pearson Airport around midnight.
Emergency crews attended the plane after it came to a stop but the airline says no injuries were reported.
The runway remains closed for the investigation but the closure is not expected to affect any other flights leaving or arriving at the airport.
