OTTAWA – A man wanted for threatening to kill police officers and hospital security personnel has been arrested in the ByWard Market.

Troy Larry Williams, 40, was arrested after allegedly trying to kick the glass door of a downtown building.

Police say Williams was wanted for threatening to stab police officers, as well as hospital security at a local hospital and a mall security at a local shopping centre.

Police had issued a release earlier Thursday, that they were actively searching for Williams and that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
