Jack MacLaren apologizes for zero tolerance sex abuse comment

Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown says he’s disappointed in a member of his party following remarks about sexual abuse of patients by Carleton-Mississippi Mills MPP Jack MacLaren.

MacLaren is apologizing for saying a zero-tolerance approach to sexual abuse was “dangerous” during a debate Tuesday.

MacLaren says he made a mistake, but the Liberals point out that he has a history of regrettable remarks, including making jokes about a female MP last year.
