OTTAWA – Sign, sign, everywhere a sign.
A large ‘OTTAWA’ sign has been unveiled in the ByWard Market.
The sign lights up in red and white and sits in a spot where if you take a photo with it, you’ll have Parliament Hill as your backdrop.
The market is currently being transformed into ‘Inspiration Village’ for Canada’s sesquicentennial.
Toronto has a similar sign, built in Nathan Phillips Square for the Pan Am games. It has became a permanent fixture that is very popular with residents and tourists.
