Police cruiser hit downtown

OTTAWA — An Ottawa Police Service officer is recovering from minor injuries after a crash downtown.

Officials say it happened on Albert St. at Bay St. around 10:45pm, Thursday.

A police cruiser was T-boned by a light-coloured van.

The incident remains under investigation.
