Autonomous car road test set for Ottawa; first in country

OTTAWA – A road test for an autonomous car is happening in the west end of the city.

There will be road closures in place for the demonstration of a self-driving car, which is happening in Kanata Thursday afternoon.

Leggett Drive will be closed between Solandt and Herzberg roads from 1:15 p.m. until 2:15 p.m.

The demonstration will start in the Mitel parking lot.
