Police release image of assault suspect

OTTAWA — Ottawa Police have released a photo of a male suspect in an assault from October 8.
On Sunday, October 8, at approximately 6:30pm, a suspicious male was confronted by a gas station employee in the 1600 block of Bank Street.
The male became violent and assaulted the employee, then left the area going east on Heron Road.
The male suspect is described as an Aboriginal male, in his late 20s early 30s, dark hair, thin build, dark blue baggy jacket, burgundy shirt, grey track pants.
