A Progressive Conservative MPP wants to do something about disposable coffee pods.
According to the Toronto Star, Norm Miller is looking for support for a private member’s bill, which would require all pods sold in this province to compost within four years.
That way, pods could be disposed of in the green bin, as opposed to regular garbage.
If passed at Queen’s Park, it would be the first such law in North America.
