This is good news if you’re feeling a little tired; you’ll be treated to an extra hour of sleep this weekend!
Daylight Saving Time officially ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday November 5, when we’ll turn back the clock one hour.
It signifies the days are getting shorter as we approach the Winter Solstice, or shortest day of the year, set for December 21.
Daylight Saving Time will return on Sunday, March 11, 2018, when we’ll switch our clocks ahead an hour.
While many clocks and electronic devices are now automatically synced to update as Daylight Saving Time ends, it’s best to double-check your devices.
You’re also advised to check the batteries in your smoke and carbon dioxide detectors.
