One man killed in single-vehicle crash in west end

OTTAWA – Police are investigating a fatal crash at Flewellyn Road and Ridingview Crescent Monday morning.

A car crashed into a tree shortly after 7 a.m., and an ORNGE Air Ambulance was called in.

Paramedics say the driver was a man in his 60’s, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Flewellyn Road remains closed in the area and police are asked that people to avoid heading in that direction.
