Man seriously injured in south end shooting

OTTAWA – An overnight shooting has sent one man to hospital.

Just after 2 a.m., police responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Uplands Road and Paul Anka Drive.

A 26-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He is listed in serious, stable condition in hospital.

The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit has taken over the investigation.
