Ian Bush found guilty of attempted murder

OTTAWA – Triple-murderer Ian Bush has been found guilty of attempted murder in the home invasion and beating of 101-year-old veteran Ernest Côté.

Côté was left for dead in his home with a bag over his head in 2014, but he managed to get himself free.

He has since passed on – his death unrelated to this case.

Last spring, Bush was convicted of killing retired Judge Alban Garon, his wife Raymonde, and their friend and neighbour Marie Claie Beniskos in 2007.

He was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years.
