Teenage girl seriously injured in stabbing

A teen girl is in hospital after a stabbing in the city.

Around 6 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the stabbing at Colonel By Drive and Laurier Avenue.

She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police say there are no suspects and that the investigation continues.

Colonel By Drive was closed in both directions from Daly Avenue to Main Street, but has since reopened.
