No injuries in east end attic fire

The cause of a fire in the east end is under investigation.

At 6 p.m. on Thursday, crews responded to a 911 call reporting smoke coming from the attic of a home at 972 Shefford Road.

The fire was under control within the hour.

There was nobody home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
