Extrication needed in crash south Ottawa crash

Ottawa firefighters have cut the roof off a vehicle to free one person in a crash on Walkley Road at Harding Road.

Two vehicles collided at the intersection around 1:20 p.m., Thursday.

One car ended up on its side.

The person needing to be extricated from the wreck was free by 1:43 p.m.

Two people were taken to hospital in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

The road has since re-opened.
