Thanksgiving dinners around the city

Those in need can take part in Thanksgiving dinners around this city this long weekend.
The Sir Guy Carleton Secondary School Thanksgiving dinner is Sunday from noon until 2 p.m. at 55 Centrepointe Drive.
Roxborough Bus lines and Campeau Bus lines will provide transportation to and from the school with pick up stops at:
– Giant Tiger on Dumaurier Avenue.
– Caldwell Avenue and Medford Street.
– Union Mission on Waller Street.
– YMCA on Argyle Avenue.

The Salvation Army Ottawa Booth Centre is hosting its annual Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
This year the meal will include turkey, creamy potatoes and gravy, veggies, stuffing and for dessert pumpkin and apple pie
Anyone in need or without a place to go is welcome.
They are expecting between 400 and 500 guests.

The Ottawa Mission Thanksgiving dinner will be held on Monday at the dining room at 35 Waller Street.
Anyone in need or alone for the holidays is welcome to go for a delicious turkey dinner and companionship between 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
