Canadian Red Cross announces more funding for local tornado relief

After facing backlash for a lack of support to those in need, the Canadian Red Cross has announced more financial help to those individuals and families in the Ottawa area who were affected by the tornadoes of September 21.
Thursday's announcement includes $600 for households of three people or less, and $800 for households of four or more.
This is only for people who have registered with the Canadian Red Cross.

West Carleton, City of Ottawa Facility, 5670 Carp Rd., Kinburn
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Arlington Woods, Woodvale Pentecostal Church, 205 Greenbank Rd., Ottawa
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Red Cross has also set aside $300,000 to support community organizations with their relief and recovery efforts.
