The Canadian Automobile Association is laying out what residents need in their vehicles, in order to be prepared for a winter emergency.
Mike Schmidt, operations manager, CAA North and East Ontario says your emergency kit should include simple things like a sturdy brush and shovel, but also some items people don't normally think about — like a candle and some matches.
He goes through a full CAA-recommended emergency kit and explains why you should pack such items in the video above.
