Ottawa police looking for man in relation to Mechanicsville murder

The Ottawa Police Service Major Crime Unit is hoping the public can help to identify a man who investigators want to speak to in relation to the death of Guled Ahmed.

Police say the man may live in Toronto or western Canada — possibly Alberta or Saskatchewan.

Ahmed, 23, was killed on Carruthers Avenue on October 29.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call Major Crime Section at 613-236-1222, ext. 5493 or the Major Crime Tipline at 613-236-1222 ext. 5477.
