Heron Gate convenience store robbery suspect identified

The Ottawa Police Service has identified the suspect in a knifepoint robbery at a convenience store on Walkley Road in Heron Gate.

Officials have not said if an arrest has been made, only that the investigation is ongoing.

Officers say a man walked into the store on February 8, at about 1:30 a.m., flashed a knife and demanded money from the clerk. 

The suspect got away with some cigarettes, lottery tickets and an undisclosed amount of money. 

No one was injured in the robbery.
