One of the capital's biggest music festivals has announced a roster of acts than span multiple genres and multiple decades.

CityFolk's four-day musical buffet includes a big helping of '90s alternative rock, with Friday night peformances from Bush, +LIVE+ and Our Lady Peace. Other acts in the lineup cover a range of genres, like indie electronic artist Rich Aucoin, R&B band RHYE, along with contemporary alt-rockers The Strumbellas and Dear Rouge.

The music festival centres around Lansdowne Park, but will also see another edition of Marvest, where local musicians take the spotlight at multiple venues along Bank Street to share their end-of-summer musical harvest.

“The festival has established an end-of-summer tradition, ” said Mark Monahan, CityFolk's executive and artistic director. “Cottages are closed, kids are back in school, and CityFolk gives people one last chance to enjoy a great outdoor music experience.”

A special, limited pre-sale offer with discounted prices starts at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 23. The regular 'on-sale' begins at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24 when all levels of tickets are up for grabs, including single- and multiple-day tickets.
