Driver identified in fatal 417 crash, west of Vankleek Hill

A 59-year-old Laval man has been identified as the deceased in a crash on Highway 417 eastbound, between County Road 34 and McCrimmon Road.

Ontario Provincial Police officers say an eastbound tractor trailer hit a stationary transport in a construction zone on May 29, at 7:47 a.m.

The driver of the eastbound truck, Claude Boudreau, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The adult driver of the second tractor trailer was not injured.

OPP continue to investigate the collision with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Collision Investigators.
