No injuries reported after Barrhaven carjacking

The Ottawa Police are investigating after an alleged carjacking in Barrhaven on Thursday morning.

Officers were called to Fallowfield Road and Woodroffe Avenue around 5:30 a.m. after a car was taken by someone claiming to have a weapon.

According to police, the suspect was tracked down, along with the car, nearby.

There were no injuries reported.
