OPP charge two in connection with firearms incident in Eastern Ontario

The Ontario Provincial Police have laid charges against two individuals in connection with a case in Eastern Ontario where three people were injured.
The events of Friday, June 27 left three people injured at a residence on Route 11 in Curran.
The three injured have since been released from hospital.
OPP have charged 40-year-old Gerard Hillier and 36-year-old Lena Spence in connection with the crime.
They have both been charged with:
- Breach of Firearms Regulation-Store firearm or restricted weapon (3 counts)
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (3 counts)
- Tampering with serial number of a Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
- Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
They were both released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in L'Orignal on August 14, 2019.
