Fire ban in place for Gatineau Park

Open fires are prohibited inside Gatineau Park until further notice.
The National Capital Commission issued the notice Tuesday, July 9.
Areas covered under the ban include the park's campgrounds, picnic areas and beaches.
The NCC says the restriction includes charcoal barbecues, but not gas barbecues.
