The first Northern Lights show of 2019 starts July 9 at 10 p.m. on Parliament Hill.
The journey through Canada's history will highlight key figures, events and achievements from Canadian history – all brought to life against the backdrop of the centre block and peace tower.
The technical crew responsible for the set up have been at work to make sure everything's ready for the first show of 2019. Walking on the hill during the day, you might not see the projectors, as they are hidden throughout the area.
There are new themes for this year's event, including a very 'spatial' anniversary.
The light show begins July 9 and runs until September 8.
The light show starts at 10 p.m. in the month of July, at 9:30 p.m. in August and at 9 p.m. in September.
