Ottawa man wanted on human trafficking charges arrested in Cornwall

A 25-year-old Ottawa man wanted on human trafficking charges among others has been arrested in Cornwall. 

Junior Tran was being sought by police in Ottawa since this past July on multiple human trafficking and 'other related' offences.

The Cornwall Standard Freeholder reports Tran was arrested in a drug bust Sept 25. in Cornwall and was charged with a number of drug and weapons offences, including possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, heroin and cocaine and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Police did not immediately say when he was to appear in Ottawa court on the human trafficking charges or if he had already.
